VisionicX – Refund & Warranty Policy

1. Scope
This Refund & Warranty Policy (“Policy”) applies to all VisionicX products and services, including:
- Energy Monitoring System (EMS): IoT devices, hardware controllers, web/mobile apps, analytics services.
- Management System Software: Academic, organizational, financial, and administrative modules delivered via web and mobile apps.
- AI Projects: CCTV/video feed analytics, AI-powered detection/reporting, face recognition, predictive analytics, and automation features.
- Services purchased directly from VisionicX or authorized partners/distributors.
2. Refund Policy
a) Devices (Hardware Purchases – EMS/IoT)
- Refund requests must be submitted within 15 days of delivery.
- Devices must be returned in original condition with packaging, accessories, and proof of purchase.
- Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days after inspection and approval.
- Shipping/installation charges (if applicable) are non-refundable.
b) Software & Subscriptions (EMS & Management System)
- Subscription and license fees are non-refundable once the service period begins.
- If a subscription is cancelled before the next billing cycle, no further charges will apply.
- Refunds are only provided in cases of accidental duplicate billing or payment errors.
c) Services (Installation, Support, Training, AI Setup)
- Fees for installation, setup, training, or AI configuration are non-refundable once delivered.
- Prepaid but unused services may be refunded on a case-by-case basis at VisionicX’s discretion.
3. Warranty Policy
a) Hardware Warranty (EMS Devices)
- All EMS devices carry a 12-month limited warranty from purchase date.
- Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
- Devices will be repaired or replaced (at our discretion) during the warranty period.
b) Software Warranty (Management System & AI Platforms)
- VisionicX software is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- We warrant that services will function substantially as described, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
c) Exclusions (Warranty Does Not Cover)
- Damage from improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or misuse.
- Damage from power surges, lightning, fire, accidents, or negligence.
- Normal wear and tear of devices or components.
- Tampering, reverse-engineering, or altering firmware/software.
- Devices purchased from unauthorized resellers.
4. Replacement & Repairs
- Defective devices under warranty will be repaired or replaced at no extra cost.
- Out-of-warranty devices may be serviced at an additional cost with customer approval.
- Replacement parts/devices carry either:
- The remaining warranty of the original product, OR
- A 90-day warranty, whichever is longer.
5. Claim Process
To initiate a refund or warranty claim:
- Contact support@visionicx.com with proof of purchase, device ID/serial number, and issue details.
- Our support team will evaluate eligibility and may request additional details.
- If approved, instructions will be provided for return shipping or troubleshooting.
- Refunds or replacements will be processed as per policy timelines.
6. Liability Limitation
- VisionicX’s maximum liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product or service.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages including:
- Business interruption
- Downtime
- Loss of academic/organizational records
- Data loss or corruption
7. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of Andhra Pradesh, India.
Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
